Harrison Ofori

Biography

Harrison Ofori has carved a distinguished career working with diverse international development organizations as financial and project analyst with over 15 years of experience, primarily working with international development organizations. He currently serves as the Senior Strategic Sector Advisor for Statistics, Meteorology, and Climate SSC at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Denmark. In this role, Harrison advises on critical climate and environmental issues. He also leads projects that supports the strengthening of Ghana’s national statistical system especially with the use of administrative data.
Before this, Harrison held the position of Financial and General Affairs Manager at the Ministerie van Buitenlandse Zaken, where he was instrumental in enhancing financial reporting, compliance, and operational efficiency. Harrison’s academic credentials include an MSc in Management Information Systems from the University of Reading, UK and a BSc in Applied Accounting from Oxford Brookes University. He is also a trained professional accountant with the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA). His blend of financial acumen, project management skills, and leadership make him a key asset in advancing both organizational and global development goals.
